Les Carroz (1140m - 2500m) is an authentic skiing village, part of the Grand Massif in the heart of the Haute Savoie Alps, 55km from Chamonix and 40 km from Geneva. At 2 hrs from Lyon and 5 hrs from Paris you have access to the 265 km of ski slopes that make up the Grand Massif with Mont-Blanc providing the backdrop!
Set on a frozen lake in the tranquil heart of the Gers bowl, is Le Refuge de Gers; a wonderful, lakeside restaurant. Return access to this exquisite hidden treat is strictly by piste basher!

Les Carroz has a selection of twenty restaurants, six bars and one nightclub. We recommend Le Marlow for some après-ski beers served in 3 litre beer towers!

L'Afionne is a great pit stop during the day and is a great place to wait until the pistes are empty for that final run home. Possibly the best Vin Chaud in Les Carroz but the hot chocolate with Cointreau is to die for; it tastes like a Terry's Chocolate Orange melting in your mouth! This is a recipe that many try and replicate on their return home however do not succeed topping the legendary "l'Anfione Chocolat chaud avec conitreau et Chantilly" encore.
