Westendorf is part of the extensive Ski Welt ski area, Austria’s largest ski region. Westendorf ski resort is connected to the neighbouring resorts of Brixen, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll and Hopfgarten, offering one of the largest choices of skiing options in Austria. Also it is now linked to Kirchberg by a new piste and the Ki-West gondola that in turn connects by a 1km bus ride to the Kitzbühel/Pass Thurn ski area.
Westendorf boasts magnificent views, excellent nursery slopes and a number of ambitious runs for more capable skiers. There is also a gondola linking the Westendorf area towards the Kitzbühel area for those who want the challenge!
Situated on an open plateau in the wide Brixen valley about 15 kms from Kitzbühel, this small, pretty Tyrolean village is lucky to be untouched by building development which adds to its charm. Skier or non skier, Winter World in Westendorf has something for everyone. Guests return annually because of its friendly, informal atmosphere and to enjoy plenty of après ski fun. In the evenings, the resort comes alive at many of the traditional and modern bars and inns.
