The village itself stretches along the valley but is small enough to mean that you are never too far away from the lifts or the incredible nightlife that Ischgl has to offer. Ischgl is one of the most picturesque resorts that you could hope to visit, it’s architecture is a mixture of typical Tyrolean wooden chalets and chic and modern hotels. No matter what your tastes, there should be something for you here.
The skiing suits all levels but perhaps best lends itself to intermediates. Highlights would be the “Duty Free Run” that snakes all the way from the highest peak down to the Swiss village of Samnaun. Or for the more experienced, there is a black piste that hits the 70 degree mark, certainly not for the faint hearted!! The pistes in and around the main lift hub of Idalp are perfect for those on their first winter sports holiday.
